Questions

Asked, and answered plainly.

What is concierge medicine?

A membership model of private medicine. Rather than paying per visit to a practice that sees thousands of patients, members pay an annual fee to a practice that deliberately keeps its numbers small. That structure is what makes the rest possible: a doctor with genuine time, direct access, care coordinated in one place, and a plan that looks ahead rather than reacting.

What happens if my doctor is away?

Your care continues inside Halsa. Because your health plan holds the complete, current picture, another Halsa doctor can step in fully briefed, and your strategist remains your constant point of contact throughout.

How much does membership cost?

Membership is by annual fee. Because membership is limited and shaped to your circumstances, fees are discussed during your application conversation rather than published as a list. There is no obligation at any point in that conversation.

What services are included?

One membership holds the whole of it: preventive care, clinically appropriate assessment and diagnostics, mental wellbeing, specialist access and coordination, home visits, and care while you travel, led by your doctor and run by your strategist. The Membership page sets this out in full.

Do I still need private health insurance and Medicare?

Yes. Halsa membership sits alongside, not in place of, Medicare and private health insurance. Hospital care, surgery and some specialist and diagnostic services continue to involve those systems, and your strategist helps you navigate them.

Can my family join?

Yes. Halsa cares for individuals, couples and families, including across generations, and there is particular value in one practice knowing everyone. Family membership is discussed during your application conversation.
